Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn has been an actor for more than twenty years. Her most well-known role was that of Skyler in the drama series of AMC, Breaking Bad. She won the Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding supporting Performance on a Drama Series for 2013 and 2014. Her other appearances comprise Jean Ward in The Practice as well as Martha Bullock from Deadwood. She was born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in the year 1968, Anna Gunn fell in love with the art of acting at the Preparatory School she attended before her family moved to Ohio at the end of the 1970's. Anna attended the British American Drama Academy and took classes in theatre in the theatre department at Northwestern University. Anna performed in Chicago's theater for a number of years before trying out for film and TV parts. Anna got her first major part as Arden as Arden when Down the Shore aired 29 episodes from 1992. The early 90s were when she appeared as a regular guest in TV and film including Seinfeld or NYPD Blue. In 2000, she was placed in Deadwood playing Martha Bullock for two full seasons. Skyler was her role on Breaking Bad. Sully is the Deadwood film and other films included her. Gunn appeared in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production produced by David Schwimmer. In 2022, Gunn also played in a 4-part audio-play series named "Numbered Days". The love story that exists between Walter White and his wife Skyler is often the backbone of the narrative in Breaking Bad with the strained connection between them and the eventual end of their relationship similar to the arc that was Walter White's final years of life.
